Cheaper than A&H washing soda
Recommended by a famous columnist for an ingredient in home-made laundry detergent. It's the same as washing soda but a lot cheaper sold as soda ash. This will last me a long time, but when I do run out, I'll buy it here again if it's still being sold.

Nice even white powered soda ash worked fine for my swimming pool though not described as for such purpose; Other products that included "For Swimming Pool" description could cost twice or more as much. Pouring this powder into an airtight jar from its thick polythene shipping bag results in a fine alkaline mist so be sure to stay clear of this irritating result. I poured it outdoors with the breeze going away from me. LABEL the new container indelibly : ) It looks a lot like caster sugar or other edible things : )

I have been using my Soda Ash for about 3 months now in my homemade laundry detergent and my family and I love it. It suds up just the right amount and cleans our clothes very well (even my son's clothes and he is a maintenance intern so he gets greasy). The soda ash is cheaper than Washing soda and besides I couldn't find washing soda in any stores around me. The seller was great quick delivery and the price was great. I will definately use this seller again.
